Theories and "expectations" have had a nasty impact on culture.
They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything.
Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.

Generally speaking, I don’t like “solving” stories. When experiencing a story, the writer has the wheel. If I’m spending the whole ride meticulously guessing our destination, I can’t focus on the ride itself, and the surprise is numbed. It’s about the journey, not the destination, y’know?
