thesis update almost two weeks into the semester: 55k words. 187 pages. And I am tapped out with easily 20k to go. Could definitely use some advice for working through blocks and self-doubt.
Thesis writing day 28 with six days before my deadline! Today I wrote 9 pages. We're at 175 pages and 48,742 words. I am expecting 75-100 more pages, maybe 30-40k more words. Obviously I have to... grind my heart out.

Thesis update day 27: After writing 38 pages in one sitting, I needed a break. Didn't write for the whole weekend. Am attempting this morning and successfully finished a scene. at 162 pages, 45,771 words.
Thesis writing update day 24: 133 pages, 38,166 words.
Thesis writing update day 22: 30,624 words, 104 pages. Wrote completely out of order today, filling in some chapters that are further down the line. But it's starting to come together.

Thesis update day 21, 26,527 words and 89 pages. Wrote four pages today.
new years resolutions: take a break from writing if needed, without shame. read things that comfort me as often as challenge me. don't cut length off my hair/learn to be comfortable with things not constantly changing/embrace stability. make cooking a creative outlet again.
Thesis writing day 20ish... absolutely stalled. Have written nothing. Tomorrow the grind starts again. We have two weeks to churn this thing out and 2/3 of a book to write still.
Ocean Vuong dropping a new novel next summer is exactly the news I needed to push me through to the new year. I'm so excited.
Didn't write for a couple of days. Thesis writing update day 13(ish, I think): Currently working through a really hard scene I've been avoiding rewriting. 85 pages. 25,126 words.
Thesis update day... 11? I did some major scavenging through old drafts, reorganizing, and some editing and have gotten the thesis novel draft up to 76 pages and 22,054 words. Still a lot of work to do! But this is making me feel better.
Thesis day 9 update: highest writing day so far. 8 pages. total at 37 pages /39 with notes for the next two chapters. 11,349 words.
