Absolutely the fuck not.
Like me she also suffers from PTSD as as result of the above for obvious reasons. There is no "cure" for any of these conditions and I am constantly greatful for the roleplay community I have as well as the real life community of people who get me.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) this time period, "involves rapid physical, cognitive, and psychosocial growth, including puberty and significant brain development." So she learned at an early age to compartmentalize alot of her feelings and effectively shut them off to avoid pain.
The reality is due to the trauma brought on by the Garlean invasion of her homeland that effectively wiped out her tribe (X-tribe) she has a hard time connecting with others. She was still a child when it happened, in her formative adolescent years.
Zee has a condition called DPDR or depersonalization-derealization disorder. In simple terms she often feels or functions like a robot in the sense that she will often detach herself from reality or the people around her.
Often times people will say that she comes across as cold or impersonal.
