I think it’s fairly obvious that a milquetoast 78 year old is not going to drive turn out even if she is clearly the safer/better choice.

I’m a new Mainer - just moved here last year. It’s a rough scene for a non-native democrat. I do not support him, but it’s clear there is a ton of local enthusiasm for him. Plus, the obvious downside of Mills. I do think it’s going to come down to holding your nose and pulling the lever for him.

I just moved to Maine from NYC - I'm far from well-versed on Mainer politics but the enthusiasm for Platner is ubiquitious in a way I wasn't quite expecting.

The team consistently looks dead in big moments, makes the same base running and defensive errors year after year. I don't think Boone is the reason they didn't advance but he's not raising the floor or ceiling and if Hal is going to plead austerity, they need improvements on the margins.
