In an old book club, I disagreed with the leader about a passage (whether the main character understood something or not) and she literally shut me down and said “I’m in the publishing industry, I know what I’m talking about” and I just sat there like 😬😬😬
Went to the Book Club Bar’s romance book club and had such a good time! Kimberly Lemming is one of my fav authors so it felt like a sign ✨
I’ve had a really bad experience with a book club before (cliquey, mean girl shit) so this was a delight.
