Check on your emotionally reserved friends. A lot of us don't express distress openly and many people mistake that for invulnerability or hypercompetence. I find that especially true among trans people.

On the last show I was on I saw some people use video tracks above or underneath so they would be unaffected by panels? works if its a static img or an object tween, but def got too messy when anyone tried putting extra layers+frame animation into them on top of panels. for a bg tho it should work!

I feel punished for my good news last week 😔 I knew we didn’t have much time but this is so hard still

this is also on top of that the same day, just before the new year started I had to go to the ER because my surgical stitches opened and had signs of infection. The new year started with me in a hospital room not even able to properly mourn or celebrate her. I’m having the actual worst couple days

early morning yesterday, just past midnight on new years eve, my sweet baby girl Margaret passed away in my arms. She was 17 and really sick, but I thought I’d at least see the new year with her. I feel so devastated starting the first day of this year without her. I don’t know how to keep moving
