Jeff Sachs spreads lies and manipulations about Ukraine; he appears on russian propaganda shows and speaks for Ru at the UN. There's no excuse to defer to his academic credentials, platform him, and treat him w respect. Whoever does it (for e.g. the Irish president) is complicit in Ru propaganda.

Global South countries' "what's it to me?" attitude towards the Russo-Ukrainian war might start to shift. It was always a mistake to think Russia destroying the intl order through aggressive territorial conquest wouldn't destabilize the world and affect everyone.

And I say this not out of distrust in Russia. This is literally Russia’s stated position! Delusions otherwise don’t help peace. They hurt Ukraine without ending the war.

Ru repeats that "all objectives of the special military operation will be achieved". This is totally different and incompatible w "Donbas and done". If Ukrained agreed to give up Donbas, Ru would say this is a good start and immediately add demands, you know, "to address the root causes of the war".
