"I take my kids to Stanley Park and the Aquarium, and dropped hundreds this year doing the horsedrawn tour and now I feel slightly ill having done so as I find giving further monies to JK Rowling morally repugnant."

When Trump's henchman Kennedy inevitably falsely claims that vaccines cause autism and implements a ban, I don't want to hear anyone in my presence fearmonger about autism, a common and valid neurotype. The double-tap of endangering my loved ones with vaccine denial and discrimination is NOT ON.

A Canadian government foreign policy account tweets: “Canada condemns the killing @AlJazeera journalists in #Gaza. Journalists are civilians — targeting them is unacceptable. We call for full accountability and for the protection of media everywhere. #PressFreedom #NotATarget”

The Canadian government won’t even name Israel, which took credit for murdering these journalists, in its post condemning them.

Started playing #pathfinder with the 13yo and 7yo again today. Drew my character gnome druid with Moose companion to help my patience with kid -tangents and slow decision making. Kids insisted I draw the rest of the party. It amused me. Its not high art but I'm pretty chuffed. #ttrpg

I'd rather add something (possibly commission some indigenous art) to indicate right up front I'm not associated with the bigots (signage was anti-immigrant and racist) who put up signs in my 'hood that year. I feel like as it is it could make people feel unsafe or unwelcome, which I don't want.

Canada Day tomorrow. I plan on browsing the National Film Board nfb.ca and watching some Heritage Minutes on historicacanada.ca . Spending a bit of time outside. Thinking of ways to decolonize my maple leaf tattoo since the "freedom convoy".
