If lower, death rates in Lethbridge would be due to policy, they are not, why are rates at a record breaking high in Edmonton?
Same province, same policies.

Rising or falling rates are mostly driven by the toxicity of the drugs.

March 6 is Black Balloon Day, a time to remember and honour the people we’ve lost to substance use related harms and the toxic drug poisoning crisis.

Today we speak their names and hold them close in our hearts.

These people are by far the biggest threat to public safety - not protesters, not encampment dwellers, not people using drugs. Fascists.

You can blame Alberta for spreading the myths BC has now internalized to allow so many to die, but this is foremost a crisis of leadership.

(And, those myths were conceived in BC, then funded, incubated and nurtured in AB, and exported back to BC.)
