It will be a shitshow with all of those "portiques" of SNCF. Even if they don't use them they are here...

The past French Government was master of that with Midnight Trains and Railcoop.
KevinSpeed concept is too good to be realised in the actual French rail conditions sadly...
Even running at 2hrs frequency between 6-22hrs on their planned lines will be an important improvement over what SNCF provides there
A few years ago, a friend told me he saw a mouse in a TGV....
I'm very curious if this is happening in other countries as well. In my opinion, it's a somewhat problematic situation for France.
"En remplissant ses trains à plus de 700 sièges, SNCF Voyageurs estime pouvoir faire baisser les prix de 20% en moyenne sur les liaisons opérées"
So they will basically run a HS service at Flix prices ??
SNCF is right at that point...
What about Ouigo 🇫🇷 ?
Same for Italy- Instead of focusing on services between France and Italy, they are turning their attention to the Italian domestic market.
Test drives of the Turkey's first "National High Speed Train" unit begin this Friday...

Can we say that Stadler is to SBB what Alstom is to SNCF?
So why always boasting about that 30% of the TGV offer will be Ouigo in few years if this was temporary ? 🤣
TVS-2000s has an Asian-style toilet at one end and a Western-style toilet at the other.
But the interior build quality of the compartments might need a revision
A Sunday morning in Strasbourg station
Only ONE long-distance departure in an hour. ONE
Night trains in France like Paris-Nice should not be priority i think. It is just for making a good image of French railways both şn France and Europe
Imagine a TGV departing at 19-20h from Paris/Nice... Same departure time as ICN... Much better option
Abrogation of the "Nouveau Pacte Ferroviaire" of the 2018 is the only way...
No, it never was like that.
A new rail project, both for freight and YHT, will soon be launched around Istanbul, that will pass through SAW and IST.

Where is this quote from? 😄
Oxygene units are ordered in a rush when the cancellation of Bordeaux-Marseille services by 2027 announced
And they are indeed under capacitary
Is France the country in Western Europe with the oldest average age of rolling stock in rails ?
He should make a Bullshit Meter on SNCF's claims that those refurbishments are made to offer passengers more comfort.
Those renovations are only for cramming more 💶💶 on their trains.
I have occasionally seen some Oceane Like between Strasbourg and Paris since the summer of 2024.
Already the case on the NEC
But no new seats for the remaining single-deck (Reseau) units.
Yes some of the Duplex will be Océane-ised, and 12 of them will be Ouigo-ised 🤢
No the renovations are in another part of the building
Now all you could find is overpriced sandwiches or bakery products. You won't find a decent meal in stations.
There used to be a very busy Burger King at Strasbourg train station, but it closed down in recent weeks because it couldn't withstand SNCF's exorbitant rent and fees.
This is a bit cultural thing. In France, train stations usually have a nice restaurant where people eat before or after their journey. (Such as "Le Train Bleu" at Gare de Lyon)
But of course, this culture was pretty disappered as a result of SNCF's commercial profit obsessions.
I'll make a hot take:
Night trains, alongside with reopening of some "petites lines" with cheap renovations and weak services, are the facade of the French govt and the SNCF for hiding what is really going on on the railways since last years.
