Amongst some Pirate fans he’s also the poster boy for sample size. He had a 7 game stretch in 2002 where he went 15-27 with 4 HR’s. Some fans were calling him the next Manny Ramirez despite it only being 27 AB and he’s 30 years old. Spoiler alert; he was it the next Manny Ramirez.

When doing all Pirates I think after the 4 expansion teams, my least favorite team is the Orioles. The options seems so limited. Nothing wrong with Midre, Reboulet and Milligan - but seems we always have to use them. I think Pat Clements, AVS and Grant Jackson are the only guys I truly like to use.
