"Waves" (2016). Not a fluid simulation.
Just sine waves affecting the Y-position of elements moving along X. Simple rules, complex motion.
Exhibited at my solo show 'Coding Life' and the PLUGIN section at Contemporary Istanbul.

and yes, since you were asking:
the code is rather complicated, some flood fill algorithm is involved, the pattern is inspired by the Japanese way of repairing cloth (Sachiko) and in general i am very proud of this piece ๐
