So like, if you're in a town after visiting the blacksmith and upgrade vendor and the general store, you might find an NPC standing around outside the general store asking for advice on his sick wife, and a chat bot takes over while you talk to him
It's not every NPC in the game, it's certainly not the story important ones.
But when you're in a town or a village, random villagers with no other game function might have a chat bot and a pre-established backstory problem.
