We are locked in an infinite loop where the administration distracts from outrage over Epstein files by creating outrage over ICE excesses, and distracts from outrage over ICE excesses by creating outrage over Epstein files.
This is a unique way for a democracy to spiral towards oblivion.

When they gave her a sandwich, she didn't eat it, fearing it contained pork. After her release, the Star Tribune visited the young Muslim woman at the sparsely decorated apartment where she lives with her mother. She recounted how federal agents tailed her after she dropped her mother off at work in mid-January. Afraid to drive home, she parked in a busy area, she said. Two agents knocked on her window, asked for identification and detained her. While the Star Tribune was unable to independently verify some details of her detainment, much of her account about conditions at Whipple is consistent with descriptions from other interviews and court filings. Many detainees requested anonymity, fearing retribution.
Separate cells for citizens U.S. citizens, many detained while protesting, said they were kept separate from and treated differently than immigrants. Will Vermie said he landed in Whipple on Jan. 13 after observing the detainment of two young men across his south Minneapolis street. Agents started pushing observers, telling them to get off the sidewalk, he said. An agent grabbed Vermie's arms, and the two lost their balance and fell to a heap. Four agents handcuffed Vermie and tossed him in an SUV. For 8 hours at Whipple, the 39-year-old U.S. Army veteran said he stayed in a small cell for citizens. Seven more U.S. citizens were brought in. Some were bleeding, and told im they had been roughed up in detainment. They were given water but no food, he said, except when a guard brought fruit snacks to one man with low blood sugar. Lawyers were given access only after providing the full name of a detainee, he said. So Vermie memorized the names of four detainees. When he was released without charges at 6 p.m., he gave those names to an attorney outside.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators filling the streets with signs and banners
Demonstrators as far as the eye can see. Current status of the march in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota for Ice Out of Minnesota. They are turning onto 3rd Street from 5th Avenue.
I have now seen multiple groups who have taken it upon themselves/their social groups to re-create the historical signs that the federal gov't took down in Philly yesterday.
The best way to get people to spread a message (especially in this anti-authority, fuck-you town), is to try to censor it.
ICE is sending these kids to the concentration camp in Dilley, Texas, where they're preparing to have so many children that they're opening a new school there. They're actively hiring teachers now. I reported on it last month. We have to get people out of there.

it is -10 here today. I was supposed to go do a volunteer shift standing outside loading groceries into people’s cars to deliver to families stuck at home. just got a call not to come in because they have too many volunteers already. if you were wondering if the cold would stop us.
There is an area in the ICE detention center in Minneapolis designated specifically for American citizens. Contemplate that for a minute.
