Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old U.S. citizen and Minneapolis resident, was murdered by ICE today. He was a lawful gun owner. Our government saw his Second Amendment right as a threat and executed him in the streets.
Sylvester has passed judgment on his humans and we are, in fact, unworthy.
Well…until 10pm when one of us needs to open his can of cat food. 😆

Yes. I always have a canvas around that's my "garbage" piece. I can do absolutely anything to it bc I've already decided it will eventually go in the trash. So when I get paralyzed on where to start, I just go there because I literally can't mess up. Then once I get comfortable, I can move on.
🩷 Drawing's a big one for me. I don't particularly love drawing, but I'm committed to changing that this year! I've been doing one hour a day the last few days!

So many excuses. I'm trying a thing this week where I commit to just the bare minimum. For me, that's filling up my jar with clean water and gathering my brushes. I always have the choice to walk back out of the studio, but I find that little barrier is all I need to cross to continue.
I know. It still think it's weird. LOLOL If anything, it reminds me why painting is something I continue to do, and that's a good thing.
