The only thing I lament is Legacy crafting doesn't have a search bar, or a way to combine tools in the crafting table (repairing tools in that way was moved to the inventory screen).

I wish the team went through with something similar to this; the legacy edition's crafting menu felt better on controller than the recipe book, and even feels good with KBM as seen with mods like Legacy4J. I you didn't like it, Legacy also had the classic crafting grid as an option as well.

All of the v270 updates will take a while longer to make their way to #CobaltWASD; theyβve not been tested there yet, and may cause some things to break. No ETA has been provided.
The Closed Beta can be accessed through Steam with the code βeverythingcanbreakβ.

Hey @anosou.com, I was rewatching some early Cobalt promotional videos, and I found this video which features a version of the Cobalt theme not found in the games files or on your Bandcamp. Do you still have a copy of this track? Are there any other official tracks that may have been lost to time?
The maps are Bygone and Sub-City Mayhem.
Bygone features a desert surface with sprawling caves and an underground oasis. Sub-City Mayhem surrounds an abandoned underground complex as you fight your way back up to the surface world.

MortissMonster published two new Classic Survival gamemode maps to #MojangCobalt 's Steam Workshop this month. Classic Survival was the original version of the Survival gamemode during Cobalt's alpha, but it was reworked into the Waves Survival mode we have today before the full release. (1)

LastOfManny and the Cobalt community played in a modded Cobalt WASD server supporting up to 20 players simultaneously, hitting a concurrent player count of 11.

The Cobalt WASD Experimental Beta branch.
If you play #CobaltWASD on Steam, did you know there's a secret re-balance update branch? On the Steam Library page, select Settings>Properties>Betas and enter the code "wowthatissomestuff" to access the secret beta.
The beta has tweaked physics, reworked AI balance, and entirely new shops. Try it!
Janeator has been Cobalt forum staff since the alpha nearly 15 years ago, has been mapmaking just as long, and is one of a select group to have their maps featured in vanilla Cobalt on Steam and Xbox platforms.

Cobalt's level editor is known for being... not very stable or easy to use. That's why Creeper-boop has spent hours dissecting Cobalt and making patches to improve usability! Most modern maps for Cobalt are made with these patches, which - (1 of 2)

Sven was probably my favorite villager, but hes one of the handful of villagers that only appeared in the first game. I miss him so much!
Cobalt is developed by #OxeyeGameStudio and published by #Mojang. User maps are only playable in the full Steam version, and are made accessible through the Steam Workshop.
Cobalt's Steam demo has the entire singleplayer campaign and online multiplayer, but no Steam Workshop map support.
