Today I reminded colleagues at USC that the company behind Claude, which was being hyped, scrapped/stole at least 138 books that bear the copyright of our universityβ¦
No such policies at USC Press and Markβs take seems right. Probably not any oneβs good idea but the drift of a reasonable practice re metadata into an inappropriate area.
