I got my opuntia from a Fb marketplace encounter. I was buying something else and saw the pads and commented on them and they said please take them all ๐. I am a fan of prairie moon though, they have some hard to find seeds
Do it! Amelanchier is one of my favorites. Fall color, berries and delightful little flowers. It is susceptible to cedar rust though and I missed out on the berries this year :/

Symphyotrichum lanceolatum or white- panicle aster. This one showed up on its own when we built our pond. It tends to colonize disturbed areas. I'm hoping to catch some photos of frost on these seed heads
