I would be thrilled if a crow left me some bread on my porch. I'm guessing this person will just be confused at the suggestion. π¦ββ¬

If there are any journalists who follow me & are interested in the upcoming MI07 primary, would you consider an interview w @wewill2026.bsky.social? He's really setting himself apart from both the incumbent & the other primary candidates. I can direct you to the person who can schedule the interview

ugh those typos I don't even know what I was typing. Basically, the rationale "well, we're there already" is not the basis for support

Michigander here. This is basically going to be my argument when I call @slotkin.senate.gov and @peters.senate.gov offices today. I don't understand what they're rationale. "Well, we're there already" is not the basis for support.

Very cute, long-range, reasonably-priced EV that we obviously won't have access to in the US. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CDC...

A hotter, wetter South is becoming a breeding ground for mold
In Asheville, N.C, a housing crisis is colliding with a poorly understood health threat.
Yet another understudied but potentially serious health impact of climate change: mold in our homes.

For years on my old blog I published the names of servicemembers who died in Iraq & Afghanistan. No other outlets were.
These are the first 4 Americans to die in the Iran War.
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39
Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20

Iβm gonna be real controversial and say that if you get to make decisions about placing our military personnel in mortal danger, part of the job description is sitting there, quietly, and respectfully listening to exactly what military veterans have to say about it.

At 1:13:00 "We've never had large-load customers that had the resources and the profit margin...to be able to pay their own way...These data centers, they have resources...and we need to protect the rest of the rate-pays."

Jump to 1:05:41 for that key point.
Now, with this info in mind, the tax incentives that have been offered to data centers in Michigan seems like the exact wrong approach.

Every expert in this panel acknowledges that load growth associated with data centers is uncertain, which brings with it a lot of RISK. But, the key argument is that the costs of that risk should not be socialized. The proper customer needs to pay for the risk, and that customer is the data centers.
