Here is another blast from the past as I continue to accidentally new find ways to relive my childhood.

I was at New Horizons mall the other day and found a little German shop selling Moravian stars. I had to get one! It was expensive, and bigger than expected, but I love it!

I checked out Calgary’s largest garage sale at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre. So many people! Nothing too exciting (will I ever find a Walkman?) but I did haggle my way into two Corningware mugs. These are straight from my 1980s childhood! Seriously, did anybody NOT have these mugs?

A lovely day of excess consumerism. The day was spent all over the city grabbing some last minute Items for my upcoming trip to Japan.

I completely agree with the sentiments of this post but will add that AHS is full of brilliant folks, and despite the government constantly hamstringing us, we always find a way to take care of patients. I'm not sure we've crossed the line of complete failure, but we're marching right toward it.

It has been such a fun weekend so far! I went to a Wranglers game on Friday, and had a great meal at Model Milk Saturday. 17th ave was hopping both nights! #Calgary is such a fun city if you take a moment to forget the Trump-worshipping-christo-fascist style politics we’re forced to endure. #yyc

Relax, I’m from the future!

Concert band giveth me confidence,
and jazz band taketh it away.

Having practice one block away from home is the best thing that had ever happened to me! I’m going to be devastated when I have to start driving down south again.

I know that it’s super trendy to hate the Calgary Stampede these days, but I, for one, have been having a blast there this year. I’ve lived in YYC for all of my 46.95 years and not a lot feels more sentimental around here. However, I absolutely refuse to do the cowboy cosplay.
