That night before bedtime, I pulled back the covers on our fully made bed.
My earring was plainly lying there.

I’m online seeing if I can find a replacement. No luck. I’m realizing it may just be the end of an era, so to speak. I had searched the washer and the laundry. No joy. Bummed, I eventually re-made the bed with clean sheets.
Crazy story: After stripping our bed to wash everything the other morning, I realized I’d lost one of a favorite pair of earrings I’ve owned since the 80s (I’d worn then to sleep when I crashed the night before. Bad move). I search everywhere; it’s just GONE. NGL panic ensues—I love these earrings.
