I have literally converted people who thought they hated tomatoes because they'd never actually eaten a good one, just those weird pink ones that are sort of crystalized! Though hothouse tomatoes have come a long way since back then, especially cherry ones!

They are harder to grow but a fresh heirloom tomato off the plant are one of the best things in the world and even in season the good ones are pretty expensive to buy at the market. But, yes, they are more challenging, especially to grow in pots.

I'm also looking forward to planting flowers and herbs on our balconies (and probably a Lebanese cucumber too). And lots of poppies at the community garden, alongside some flowers to make bouquets for the house. It's a more limited growing year but it will still be nice to eat fresh produce!

Everything! We have a shortened season at the community garden because of work that the city needs to do so I'll mainly be growing various types of greens and lettuces, snow peas and probably some cherry tomatoes since our season won't be long enough for big tomatoes.
