From the dunes

8:40 am this morning and fog has begun to lift off the Santiam River while an osprey or an eagle floats slowly westward over the other side of the river. Lots of moss covering the rocks and tree trunk to the left with some dead grass on the right. Trees line both sides of the river and the fog has risen just above most of them and still hides the sun ☮️

We’ve had several storms lately with high winds. So the trails are decorated with epiphytes. So many beautiful pieces of branches covered with lichen, moss, and ferns.

Just back from a few days in Llanwddyn, north Wales Although it rained solidly, lots of roads flooded, it didn’t stop us exploring this beautiful part of the world.
