Started reading this morning, fresh from the local library, a new novel from Ocean Vuong, THE EMPEROR OF GLADNESS.

A database of pirated books is used by a social media giant (META) to train its AI tool. My two books, along with several individual short stories, (all of which took thousands of hours to write over a five year period) were among the works stolen, copyrights be damned. 😡
