Got invited to KEXP today and got to have a personal sit in for Haru Nemuri's session. Both times she was in town previously I was sick and had to let go of my tickets, so what a way to finally experience her music. The new album sounds great!
Should be a fun day!

Overall game feels familiar, but has its own flair. Its joined the playing till 7AM club. Players just need to come at it as Tokon and not MvC. Excited to see how tagging is developed and how the game comes along. and look forward to commentating the game!
Kamala:
- Has the best special? ( i.e Heavy overhead)
-Best AA assist(?)
-Easy bake, able to snipe, get in, and combo with ease.
Doom:
- Lots of potential, pass through mix.
-Shield combos.
- Oki, zoning, heavy command grab seems messed up ( Laudatory)
Character impressions of who I played the most:
Cap:
-YO st. MK is that button.
-Bandit bringer is fast af.
-Shield toss and kick is one of the coolest things in the game.
Starlord:
-Self mix is fun as hell.
-Gun mechanic brings so much utility
- Gun Dipper
Concerns:
-Whiffed light auto combo(normalize like the other ones)
-Assists felt good at times, but rigid others ( realized late that assists dont come out if you whiff first, better clarity)
-2H feels hella active compared to something like DBFZ.
-Down down input feels bad.
Thoughts on Tokon after playing the beta:
Cool stuff:
-Characters are very fun & have their own dynamic strengths.
- IAD is fast.
-Supers give unique buffs.
-Normals feel juiced.
-Neutral assist seems cool to weave in.
-Everything doesn't feel solved right away.
