4/5 Brilliant in typical Ojeda fashion but felt a little disjointed and overly tedious. Extremely dark, makes you want a shower. Very impressive translation work that really plays into the identity of each character!

Bath Haus - PJ Vernon
4/5 excellent, super unnerving twisty thriller. Gets a little over explained at the end but it’s bearable. This one feels so violating it’s like, oppressive. Extremely creepy.

Mr. Magic - Kiersten White
2/5 Sorry but I didn’t like this one, it felt like a r/nosleep Netflix adaptation for teens, and the writing style wasn’t particularly interesting either.

Black Flame - Gretchen Felker-Martin
5/5 fucking brilliant in its simplicity and also the perfect length for the story. Felt like Hellraiser meets Cigarette Burns. Highly recommend

Spiral - Koji Suzuki
3/5 shockingly boring but somehow well paced at the same time. Effectively creepy but the writing is bland (could be translation though) had an exposition dump at the end and even though the reveal was super cool I HATE having shit explained to me so 😡
