Come see our poster #61 at 3pm @iclr-conf.bsky.social #iclr2025 surface deep learning for generalising fMRI decoding across different human brains with @dahansimon.bsky.social @gabriben.bsky.social
Hi, What's the name of the paper?
Doing a demo on evaluating small language models for non-reasoning tasks (e.g. professionalize, shorten) at the amazon booth at 14:00 tomorrow at #ICLR πΈπ¬
Final chance!!!
On way to ICLR to support @dahansimon.bsky.social in presenting our work on surface vision transformers for generalisable encoding/decoding of movie stimuli from/to FMRI. Who else will be there?
Please fill this out! I would add that many (e.g. LGBTQ+) people may currently have safety concerns about travelling to the US
Very pleased to share the fMRI pipeline paper from the fetal release or the developing human connectome project, a true labour of love and incredible work from Slava Karolis #dhcp #connectome #fmri direct.mit.edu/imag/article...
Overview presentation of the MULTIFACT project in an auditorium.
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the MultiFact Symposium on AI and MRI for Fetal Brain Development at our institute in Munich! π§
A fantastic gathering of experts sharing the latest advances in the field. Thanks to all who joined!
There are days in life that shake you.
Iβm shattered π to share that I just found out that the US Government terminated my 2024 NIH Directorβs Early Independence Award (~$2 million), threatening my long-promised assistant professor job at Columbia University

This detailed investigation of cortical variability in adults and neonates simply wouldn't have been possible @yrguo.bsky.social 's incredible patience and attention to detail. Cortical folding variability is considerable and outside primary folds doesn't align with functional borders.
Why academia is sleepwalking into self-destruction. My editorial @brain1878.bsky.social If you agree with the sentiments please repost. It's important for all our sakes to stop the madness

Thank you! Will get @yrguo.bsky.social to post a synopsis soon. She's done an amazing job
Is it really so bad to allow people -especially those for whom English isn't their first language - to use an offline LLM to help them phrase their thoughts? We actually suggest similar in our scientific writing training for students.
Brain function fluctuates dailyβbut what drives these changes?

Huge congrats @sophieadlerwagstyl.bsky.social @konradwagstyl.bsky.social and team !
Very thankful to have played a tiny part in this study showing potential for cortical surface deep learning for epilepsy surgical planning
Very pleased to officially introduce MELD Graph, a novel AI tool for the detection of subtle focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) lesions in epilepsy patients.

So incredibly proud to announce that @dahansimon.bsky.social work on designing surface deep learning models that can generalize fMRI encoding/decoding across individuals and to unseen stimuli will be presented at #ICLR2025. I really think these can be game changing for dynamic fMRI modeling.
