A reminder: Matt Goodwin lost heavily in spite of an almost total lack of tactical voting, not because of it.

The combined Green/Labour vote was 66%, versus 28.7% for Reform.

If Labour and the Greens split the vote 50/50 – a total coordination fail – he'd have finished third, not second.

I prefer non-lethal distractions from the tRUMPSTEIN Files like renaming the Gulf of Mexico, making Canada the 51st state & buying Greenland. Sure it was hugely offensive to longtime friends & allies, but at least no one died.

Bannon, Epstein, Farage and Johnson and the Plot to 'Topple' Theresa May The far-right former Trump adviser told Jeffrey Epstein that "we are overthrowing May right now" as he worked with Boris Johnson to remove the then Conservative Prime Minister from office

The Epstein files grant us a rare glimpse into the kind of machinations that must be happening all the time. As @bylinetimes.bsky.social reveals, Trump's fixer, Steve Bannon, helped Boris Johnson overthrow Theresa May. Blatant foreign interference in our politics. 🧡

The Italian bishops are right: these deaths are the result of political choices

Palantir sues magazine that revealed Switzerland rejected its approaches Peter Thiel-chaired data intelligence group alleges that Republik did not give it sufficient right to reply

"The report, reviewed by the FT, decided against using Palantir technology for Swiss military data since there was a risk that US authorities could gain access to the sensitive files."

Yet here Labour continues to shove public money down its throat.

A very sad part of Brexit is the simple fact that while we were in the EU, Β£6bn/yr investment was delivered in the form of regional development + structural + agricultural funding to parts of the UK that most needed it regardless of who was in charge at Westminster.
Those funds were not replaced.

DoJ cases against protesters keep collapsing as officers’ lies are exposed in court String of embarrassing defeats for prosecutors as experts condemn DoJ effort to cast people as β€˜violent perpetrators’

"In Chicago, of 92 people arrested for assaulting or impeding officers last fall, 74 cases have resulted in no charges; in 13 cases, charges were filed and dismissed; and five charged cases were still pending. . . there have been no convictions.

25 years of migrant-bashing hasn’t put a single extra nurse on your loved one’s ward; hasn’t added a single doctor to the NHS; hasn’t built a single council house or affordable home; hasn’t reversed falling wages; hasn’t made your weekly shop cheaper; hasn’t reduced the cost of your mortgage…

So glad if the colic is easing a bit .
A friend’s little one had it badly and it was stressful for all concerned. He grew out of it, hope it will be the same in her case.
I’m ok, trying to negotiate a trip south. Timing is tricky😬

Reform would create ICE-style agency and end leave to remain, Zia Yusuf to say Nigel Farage’s party plans to deport up to 288,000 people a year on five flights a day and expand stop and search

Rise of the Nazis

Reform UK to create ICE-style agency to deport 288,000 people a year, will terminate the status of those with indefinite leave to remain.

It would leave the ECHR.

How many would be shot, as by ICE?

How many families will be destroyed?

How many concentration camps?

These people are poison. They will unleash racist thugs on the streets of this country and call it security. They will subjugate us to the US and call it patriotism. They must be stopped. There is no more important task in politics.

Farage accused of 'cheap stunt' after being 'denied entry' to Chagos Islands The Foreign Office website makes clear the restricted access of the British Indian Ocean Territory and clearly states 'you need a permit before you travel'

But it's not "a cheap stunt."

Farage won't have flown economy, or alone and if there was "an aid boat" that will have cost money too.

It's expensive flying to the Maldives.

Where did he stay?
How long is he staying?

How much did it cost?
Who picked up the tab?
