Here’s a frangipane tart we did in a puff pastry shell with brandied cherries, for a recent anniversary. It did not suck
Frangipane is an almond custard, but I have tarted it up with vanilla & citrus before to pleasing effect. I do not think frangipani, the flower, is edible
