The 11.0 changes achieved basically the same as my spread reduction suggestion and it worked out great, brellas actually feel like high damage guns now. It could be tweaked further but i wouldn't touch it personally.
you don't even need to change the direction you run before squid rolling. you can swim at max speed in any direction if you cancel a run. do it well and you don't even enter squid form before a roll so you can do a frame 1 roll in any direction without adjusting which way you run
i would agree but it is funny to see people slowly move their cursor to who they want to jump to
I think it is rather disappointing that none of the big swig rollers got fizzy bomb or tacticooler

The flower wasn't iconic for me until I changed its language to french. But I loved it after that
youtube telling me my average view duration is down as if this isn't my first sub 10 minute video since 2025. of course the view duration is down there's less duration to view in the first place
If that's what would happen I wouldn't be upset. i would just be disappointed
But wouldn't the end of a game's life cycle be THE time to take risks. it's not like game or DLC sales are at risk and they've shown they're willing to make big changes with the 11.0 update's aura and hitbox changes

should've been there sooner. can't blame me for taking advantage of a gap in the market
but i can't get mad at it because that's just how splatoon's balancing has always been. if a thing catches the attention of the balance team, off the cliff it goes. only exceptions i can think of was crab which was slowly toned back over 6 months and ray which was always OP but less so near the end
I always think that when i clarify that cooler nerf =/= cooler muder, i'm being annoying and saying something everyone already knows. then i read a comment that says a cooler nerf would make the world explode and i remember why i have to clarify every time

it's crazy to me that we still don't have a brella in this game with rain despite that being the only time you'd have a brella irl
it has always felt like a way to artificially extend the game's life by adding an "event" that gets players to come back to the game and get invested again

I've played against a bunch of dynabow comps and again they feel the same to me. play by the same cooler timings to enable similar weapons that do similar things. just longer animations for more spam. it looks different but from my limited brush perspective it feels like they just do the same thing
heavy got 2 area cup top 4s playing with snipewriter and S-blast. unless i see wild new heavy comp it just looks like a variation on the same idea. if anything it just seems to be replacing the short range support with mid-long range support that does the same thing but from further back.

Right now I think it's just cooler that does this. Only comparison I can think of is old crab, stingray and armour. If we found ourselves in a world where every team had to consider how they'd fit a v96 or booyah into their comp then maybe I'd add those to the list but for now, just cooler
