I am so unmotivated to play this game until March 17.
I know I need to stream again if I’m gonna raise the last $222 for Combo Breaker, but besides TNS and locals, it’s like… why.
We finished #RE9 and now I’m sad it’s over 🥺
Just wrote 1,000 words of my first NEW DRAFT since I started my debut in 2020. Physically wrestling my fear of imperfection to the ground until it taps out. I have more stories in me. They will be messy. I can fix that later. I have a draft to write now.

Spoke to Donald Norcross’s office which offered more clarity than my senators. Was basically told that focus needs to be on Maryland reps and Lud’s reps specifically, because reps outside of the jurisdiction really can’t do anything on this case. #FREELUD

A staffer from Cory Booker’s office actually called me back and gave me their direct line. I spoke to them and provided all the details on Lud’s case!! They said since Lud’s reps are already aware, we probably don’t need to do anything now, but depending on how things go in court tomorrow, if they need more offices contacting ICE on his behalf, call again and they’ll see what they can do!!! YOUR CALLS DO MATTER. PLEASE CALL!

I’ve been lighting up like Christmas lights when she trudges in exhausted from work—too tired to focus on TV, almost too tired to talk—and the first thing she says is, “Do you want to play more Resident Evil?”
The past 5 days have meant so much to me. Play RE9 with your person.
I don’t want to neglect practicing SF6, I have books I want to read (and write!) outside of gaming, and I obviously have a day job, but… damn, I would play every game all over again and let my backlog grow and my FGC skills slow a little bit for this.
We haven’t bonded this much over a gaming thing since THE LAST OF US season one dropped on HBO and emotionally involved her in one of my favorite gaming stories of all time. Now our two youngest rescue cats are named Joel and Ellie.
She’s a huge horror fan and campy movies fan, but she’s terrible at video games, so she’s only seen the RE films.
We are having SO MUCH FUN with me controlling the game and her directing me, advising, and reacting that I’m considering replaying all the games again with her.
I played (and loved) the remakes of RE2, RE3, and RE4, as well as RE7 and RE8… but only RE4 was after I’d met my girlfriend, and it was before we moved in together, so she barely saw any of it.
We are playing through RE9 together (almost finished!).

ICE is doing this to countless families, to countless Luds. If you weren’t eyes wide open before, the second best time to start taking action in small ways is now.
Not just when it looks “popular.”
It does not have to be something big or flashy. You can call your reps. You can donate to mutual aid. You can boost accurate reporting. You can have that hard conversation with someone close to you. You can consider reducing your spending at places that fund this.
It’s easier to ride the momentum of a collective FGC movement for one of our own right now than it is to keep going once he’s home and it’s not all over your feed.
I am begging you to be galvanized by this and continue to consider how you can resist in the long term.
