Last week we visited Bristol City Women FC to present them with their 24/25 Pledgeball League award - and we got to sit down with captain Vicky Losada to talk about her career and the issues that climate can present to sport.
I mentioned in my seminar that the research with @pledgeball.bsky.social would be out soon - exploring how athletes and those who work with athletes envisage the future of sports and athletes in the context of climate change. Pleased to share this has just been published!

Man City are undertaking one of the most ambitious solar programmes in world football.
Once complete, the project aims to generate enough clean energy to offset the entire academy’s annual power consumption.
