Please sir, could I have a drop of context?
Star Trek is a very serious sci-fi show about exploring space and the human condition. Also Star Trek: “remember that time Troi was a cake??”
Star Trek is Serious Business
It was probably just as scared of me as I was of it.
The best part of working out there was the wildlife. I miss that sometimes.
I mean how often do you encounter one in the wild? I had to take the opportunity when it presented itself.
When I found on in my office at the Site, that was less cool. I just calmly let it know I was going to lunch and asked it to leave while I was gone, then I moonwalked out.
Never saw it again.
Oh!
Adult scorpions glow under black light!
Babies not so much. But they are live birth, not hatched, and hang out on mamas back for a few weeks.
I briefly dated someone who had one as a pet. It was neat and scary.
Like her, actually.
Damn it now my skins crawling.
I have only myself to blame really.
I find them terrifying. Saw one at the Site, not a good time.
Fun fact, although I have some pretty strong arachnophobia I do find tarantulas cute. Saw one crossing the road in Death Valley, ended up pulling over and making sure he made it across safely.
Today I learned the phrase silkwood shower. Neat.

February 24 is celebrated by Twin Peaks fans worldwide as the day when the character of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper arrived in the town of Twin Peaks.
Do slasher films fall into the latter category?

It’s good.
I am entirely out of the loop on this one.
I have no idea what this might be in reference to but I’ll see what I can find
I honestly never understood the hate. He’s a perfectly likable character, a decent portrayal of gifted kids, and I don’t think I ever considered him annoying.
I was happy to see him return in Picard S2. It’s good to know he’s still out there protecting reality.

You forgot the most important part: the man knows how to sit in a chair with style
Dang it. I thought that, but then I started second guessing myself.
I am very bad at this game.
I’m honestly not sure.
Scotty? Maybe Q?
Spock and Data are the two I have always most identified with.
I can’t really explain why, but Janeway is my favorite captain.
- Spock, Star Trek the Motion Picture
Shows up, immediately makes it clear he has no time for Kirk’s bullshit (tragic)
- Spock, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
Shows up, immediately makes it clear he has no time for Kirk’s bullshit (comedic)
I have begun decorating the new place
Fun Fact: The bear behind the lunchbox is autographed by TWO TNG actors
