Fans still right to be unhappy but he is not being malicious. Yet he could still self censor #CPFC
With an angry banner and mocking chants after his comments about staying humble, it is hard to see a way for Oliver Glasner to repair his relationship with Palace supporters.
It is possible that it has reached the point of no return, but perhaps it may be slightly salvageable yet #CPFC

I can hear my mother's voice clearly -- she's saying that her country, England, arrests anyone accused of a crime no matter their level in society or government -- unlike the U.S., which protects their elites and let's them get away with anything.
In the country from which we demanded liberty, declaring a republic by the people and beholden to no rule by divine right, they can arrest a prince. In this so-called republic, now 250 years old and imploding, the president has been declared immune from prosecution.

I don't actually think much more would have happened. It would've been better without Johnson but Congress pretty much passed what it wanted to in terms of Reconstruction -- the post Civil War-peace was always going to be contested, for decades
Recently read Eric Foner's The Fiery Trial and one of the big takeaways from that was how little traction Lincoln got in trying to get slave owners to give up their slaves voluntarily -- it took until it was actually illegal and backed my military might to happen
