In this case, it's a real thing and it's been handled, so my brain won't file it under Unresolved Stuff.
My nightmares, now a days, are more about personal disasters and things which I can't do anything about.

I probably won't; this isn't the sort of thing that triggers my nightmares. Thank goodness.
This isn't very comforting, but we're watching the movie about the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Gripping and horrifying.
Late in 2024, we looked at what was happening and immediately signed up for every vaccination CVS in our area has. ALL OF THEM. We didn't bother with checking titers, we just got the shots.
SUCH a relief.
I agree with this reasoning, but I also am laughing because my flock of spoiled-rotten backyard hens absolutely get hand-chopped fresh veggies every day.
(They *also* scratch and peck at the ground, true, but they are extremely spoilt.)
We got really lucky. We bounced between three dealerships and one was willing to really drop the price, so I got a shiny new 2025 for well under the going rate. I went for the Sport, because it had better colors.
So many cargo mats, such nice storage space!
I assume the people who say that are mean to the cats, so the cats don't like them.
I've got a cat on me right now.
I'm in NH and when he first got reported on, I was interested. Then his actual self showed up and I lost interest. I don't know why that's so hard - he isn't who he was originally being portrayed as, so my opinion changed.
Nazi is as Nazi does, so... Nazi.
I'm in. If Dolly's for it, I'm for it.
I do love the pick-up, yes!! Also, it's a pretty blue with shiny yellow-gold bits.
I have a new Subaru and I'm excited every time I get to fill the back with chicken supplies.
(My previous car was a Geo Metro, which has so much room inside and has amazing fuel economy, but also doesn't have air bags, so...)
Then look in a different direction.
Stories with interpersonal angst aren't wrong. They are just things I don't want to read. I'm delighted for the people who are enjoying them. I'd never dream of telling those people what they enjoy is wrong.
If it's her job and this is the space she has paid for with the right mirrors, then it's just like someone doing bicep curls while watching themselves to perfect their form.
It's the only place she had access to the right mirror.
A photo of a bland off-white wall with a small cross stitch image of the Golden Gate bridge and a canvas print of The Nighthawks.
@davidjbushman.bsky.social
I just hung this print as my first step. I bought it a month ago! (The cross stitch below it is one I made.)
I'll ping you next Thursday. If I remember.
This is about what I want to read, not a statement about what I think everyone else should read.
But wow, I am NOT in the mood for stories (romance and non) with a lot of interpersonal angst. I've seen three cute covers on stories where the MCs are dealing with major emotional pain and ... nope!
Hang one thing every week and eventually you'll get there.
(I, uh. should do this as well.)
We have a 'smart' Samsung stove (induction top, divided oven, fantastic) and it sends a message to my husband (because his phone has the app) when the oven gets turned on.
This means, when he called to say he's coming home from work, that his first statement was, "So, ribs for dinner?"

Willow looks like she's ready to use that tape! On what, I'm not sure, but she's armed and tape-dangerous!
Good for you for getting the board up. I still have art not on the walls and we've been here since 2018.
I thrive on type 2.
Sorry - forgot to say, this is a statement about US news.
Well, dogs are happy.
Why the fuck do all these terrible ideas have to be named after things from Tolkien? He was a nice dude. Leave his stories alone. Make up your own stupid names, oof.
Thanks for the reminder - I've been planning to knit a couple more pairs of mitts and these have been on the to-knit list for long enough that I'd forgotten them. I know what I'm casting on this weekend.
I'm a meat eater.
A bright blue cat with yellow-gold bits.
A bright blue car with a tiny bird on the side mirror.
I went with gas because I've seen too many videos of car batteries catching fire. I know it means I'm stuck to consuming oil, but it also means my house won't catch fire because the battery freaked out. (Again, Engineer husband.)
But honestly? I really love the Crosstrek.
Ok as someone who has been known to complain about how everyone has stopped using fewer and just says less for everything now and it drives me crazy, this made me chuckle
My husband is an Engineer, so he was up to date on which engines are failing, so no: Mini, Toyota, Chevy...
Subaru is, apparently, extremely reliable. Also not hugely expensive. And! The Crosstrek comes in colors, instead of only black, white, gray, silver.
