Whenever I hear the sad young guy at the train station proselytizing to people, I’m always a little sad he doesn’t talk to me because based on the things he’s concerned about or feels is degenerate behaviour I feel like I could unzip my head and melt his brain like the arc of the covenant.

None of this is a plot hole by the way, she has had a NIGHT and is looking for an excuse to let this child out of her cell. It's just funny how many other ways she could have solved this without endangering a small blind girl.

ALSO the other puzzle boxes have the buttons labelled in braille as well as showing the symbols, so she could just reference those, she even picked up a pencil and paper to do a rubbing of something earlier! She could just make a reference page from those! And they might even be in the same order!

As the end of the day this is a story about of bunch of people who fall in love with the first person who’s nice to them, but since everyone has had shit luck the feeling is mutual.

Weirdly I don’t think I saw the Tolkien quote “not all who wander are lost” until after I came up with my username (I was mostly just trying to keep the initials DW in there) but I really like it and I’ll definitely pretend that’s what I was alluding to.
