So make yourself a favour and remove the "aspiring". Maybe put "junior" instead if you haven't professionally developed games, but trust that you are a game developer, no ifs and buts. π
Don't say you're an "aspiring game developer". I've seen this a lot and it's just impostor syndrome. πΆβπ«οΈ
You've either made/contributed to games, which makes you a game developer. Or you haven't. The only way you'd be an "aspiring game developer" is if you want to make games but haven't yet tried it.

The Nintendo Direct today
It was a sword used by the Portuguese during the Age of Discovery. The rings allow you to finger the guard for better point control and supposedly the blade was often blackened to prevent rust on ships. Its name comes from how the guard looks like 2 balls (colhΓ£o is slang for testicle in Portuguese)
First time I've seen a Portuguese colhona sword (or carrack black sword) represented in a piece of media. I approve of this choice.
This also meant that when you went to bumfuck nowhere like to an ashlander camp to do the trials, it truly gave you the feeling of being in a small isolated place hidden from the rest of the world.
Yes, in a way it felt a bit like a metroidvania where you unlocked fast travel options over time that made the world feel more connected. Silt striders, boats, mages guild, Mark and recall, intervention scrolls, etc. I remember planning actual itineraries to get to the other side of the island.
Morrowind's public transport system is still unparalleled
How is that objectively good? The nazis viewed slavs as subhumans and killed millions of civilians

The CEO o Bluesky does montante. This is truly the most based app.
Great looking sword! You may like getting into HEMA and swinging it around too! It's very fun and swords are awesome! βοΈ
Even confluence is doing rewinds now
Thanks! It's mainly these ones
And of course, continue learning UE AI programming as I have been trying this past year. I have several AI books to go through!
Also, Balatro is my GOTY for 2024. That shit was crack in video game form. π Followed by Helldivers 2
Reading as well I didn't do as much as I wanted to, though I did more than in 2023. So I guess my new years reasolutions are going to be: read more, attend my first fencing competition, get back into drawing, get back into ukelele & get back into doing some of my own Godot games
I managed to consistently start doing a sport too with fencing, which over the last year has kind of developed into an obsession.π On the other hand I failed a bit in learning the Ukelele. I did learn some songs, but haven't touched in several months. I should get back into it..
So 2024 just ended and I wanted to put some thoughts out there on this last year and 2025. Safe to say the last year did not go how I expected it to go. There were some tough times and big changes coming my way. Thankfully everything went well and I think I made the best of it!
Thanks! Yup, unfortunately due to the way bots are made, it would require Ubisoft to release a server executable, which I doubt they'd do...
Glad to see this released to the public finally! π I spent 18 months working on the bots and it was really fun. One small detail I really liked was adding the kill emoji reactions to bots. I don't know if many people will take a look at them but here's 1 min of me struggling against them today
I think that if chess had come out in today's gaming culture, it would be called a woke game with a girl boss character and forced inclusion.
It's because he's forcing the smile. He also almost doesn't seem human sometimes. Like, Pewdiepie is rich but he has some personality in his videos. You feel like you could hang out with the guy. Mr. Beast, I don't even know what his personality would be cuz his videos are just about the set pieces
Steam Deck being the MVP of my gaming time. 91% of playtime.

Very glad to see @amirsatvat.com recognised in the Game Awards! Nice change from the head in the sand attitude from last year.
Sad to see this, though not entirely unexpected. I've got to say I had a great time working on this game and it taught me a lot! Sad to see that some of the things I worked on might never make it into the hands of the players. There was so much potential... π
Correction/Update: Cuts expected to be closer to 277, not 177.
Ubisoft SF production studio closing; Ubisoft SF business office remaining open
