New blog post is live. It's about Affiliate Programs not being dead, they're thriving. But they also evolved. The channel is no longer pay on performance or low-risk, but it does work even for small brands and startups.

New post is live. A reader asked if having similar steps in a process will create a duplicate content problem for SEO, AIO, GEO, etc... The answer is no.
I share why and a few ways you can have similar steps without competition.

can't forget the velocikitties hunting and fighting over a brontocatasaurus.
ChatGPT 5.0 is nowhere near as good as previous versions. Look at this catadactyl, absolutely not accurate and lifelike.
Same with the tricerakittens I asked for.
Finally updated my blog. The post is about why redirecting a conversion page (product, lead gen forms, etc...) to content pages for SEO is almost always a bad idea.

A few people have been asking me what vectors are for SEO, AI, and LLMs because the current guides out there are techie and confusing.
So I created an easy-to-understand one that features dogs and cats. I hope it helps if you're stuck on them.

My new post on SEJ is live. The person wants to know why their rankings and keywords didn't return after they refreshed their copy.
It's because copy is only one part of SEO, everything matters to be able to perform.

Thanks Alan! Appreciate you posting this. You doing well? I'm not on social much anymore so its good to see you here!
New post is live and it is about optimizing for LLM inclusions using 3rd party signals. It is not about what you can do with your own website.
These are trends and observations I've noticed, but doesn't mean I'm right. I hope you enjoy and it is helpful.

My new Ask an SEO column is live. The person wants to know if you should optimize for high volume and high competition keywords.
My response contradicts itself, but also backs up why. The SEJ team did an awesome job editing the post.

I wrote a new post yesterday.
Yes, schema will help you rank a page and a website, it just depends who you ask and what they do. If you're curious why I'm publishing something that goes against what common knowledge is, here you go.

Please take this post down, these are not my words and I would not make some of these claims. The editors took too many liberties. Thank you.

Quick update, the ones Google Ads account is now back to performing, and oddly enough at a better rate than previous. I haven't checked the other two yet.
No explanations or reasons behind this, just odd.
Forgot I wrote this one, haven't gotten a chance to see how it has been edited yet. SEJ asked me to create a guide about 5 or so months ago with some advanced link building ideas.
These are things I've done or seen others do and liked.

Advanced Web Ranking reached out and asked if I'd write a post about how to run split tests for #SEO, and that's a topic I love. So I did. Hope it is able to help you if you're looking for ways to test with less potential damage.

3 clients in different niches with very different audiences all said the same thing on 3 separate calls this week.
1. Google Ads tanked starting late December/early January
2. Meta Ads on Facebook started crushing it same time
I checked the data and it is 100% accurate. Money shifting to Meta now.
For the record the monthly average isn't 25K. But on average I do get in a solid range near there. By keeping it low I save on server space and other costs.
Don't rely only on SEO tools to evaluate website traffic and quality.
My blog for my company is unoptimized for SEO so the tools show 100 to 200 visitors per month. I normally have about 25K because of social and my email list.
Use multiple tools when evaluating who to work with.
Nice!
My new post, The #1 thing I recommend doing before joining an affiliate program.
It's something I've been doing personally for 20+ years and what I still recommend when doing public speeches today. What is your top recommendation?
