It's difficult to find true democracies in the world, they are more the exception than the rule.
I live in a constitutional monarchy with a democratic representative system.
Many people scream for true democracy, but they forget it’s just mob rule without safeguards to protect the minority.
I don't really use Bluesky often. But many of the people I interacted with on Twitter are more active here.
Or it seems to be that way.

I second Call of Cthulhu. About Lovecraft, the man died in 1937, born in 1890. Ofcourse his work should be taken with a grain of salt. Zeitgeist and all that.
