1. It was obvious what Trump & Co were going to do. They even published a manifesto (Project2025).
2. Dwelling on hypothetical "Kamala wouldn't have..." arguments is not going to fix the problem. Americans need to actually FIX THE PROBLEM.
Canada has soft-launched a promised program to transition current work permit holders to permanent residence. But it will only be for 33,000 people.
2.1 million temporary resident permits expired in 2025. Another 2 million are expiring in 2026.
