I would respectfully submit the Papaya.

Welcome to a feed of the everyday mundane, release yourself form the shackles of entertainment and embrace the boredom! (Joined 14/11/2024) P!ease note my DM's don't work due to laws where i live and my being too lazy to jump through hoops, apologies.
I would respectfully submit the Papaya.
I suppose it'd be like if you learned to ride a bike in your 30's. It certainly serves a purpose but you've been walking and driving and riding the bus and train and regularly riding that scooter in short bursts your whole life, so never really get in to it... And i hate when authors pass away.
Was diagnosed with "Stereoscopic stress" in my late 20's - my eyes conflict rather that work together with text. Some mauve tinted glasses and i take it in and dont fatigue, just like anyone else. So am i an avid reader now? Sadly no. I have read a few series, but never got into the practice. 2/2
Thanks for acknowledging the disability thing. For me books were one page forward two pages back as i couldn't absorb them and knew i couldn't, ending up fatigued. One day i bought a used, yellowed copy of The Running Man for 20p and CONSUMED that thing the same day. I couldn't believe it 1/2
The things animals we think can't talk see... I bet birds are gossiping the shit out of everyone.
I heard on the radio (UK) the refund would go back to the company of product origin who had to add the tariff fee to their sales price, and US tax payers will see rates rise slightly to pay for it, so... charged twice, once when buying and again when refunding...?
Thank you, my fellow human. Same back to you, NonBot5000ยฎ
I owned this. Had no idea it was a reskin of another game in development and wasn't very finished. Shame, had potential.
Naa, not enough eyes, Kargobs a Specky Six Eyes (uk slang for someone with glasses is Specky Four Eyes and the big lad does indeed wear spectacles)
Additionally services like the news website and radio stations are at no cost, they are wide open with no licence required, and ad free too. If the BBC with its predictable fee funded underpinnings Ad supported funding would CRUSH the UK commercial media landscape.
If they charged for it per person weekly/monthly through PAYE rather than manually by household i reckon that'd work. If you're out of work/retired etc, you don't need to worry about paying as it's Pay As You Earn deduction, and the fee would drop to less than a tenner a month spread out like that.
What exactly is the point of this? ยฃ80k is 0.003% of the annual budget - it will fund nothing, especially not sustainably on a continuing basis ("once it's gone, it's gone"), but will cost the county cultural heritage...?
Had one and loved using it, really good going up mountains in reverse, but yeah limited use. If they ever have land mines or sentry turrets it would make the ideal dropper for them:
"Aww, your Nova had lost a track and can only spin in circles? A Mule did it! Bahh ha haa!"

Apparently leaving Skittles in Vodka will make it taste of Skittles, but you could just eat the sweeties while drinking the booze and get similar if not the same results.
@sirpaintalot.bsky.social it has been one year. I did not learn. Sitting here with an almond shape Milky Way egg right now. Let my suffering be your warning.
I just use scissors. Carpet scissors. For cutting carpet, not made from carpet.
Ooh, ooh! Ooooh!
Thanks for the details, I vaguely remember the commission becoming something of a irrelevance but had no idea it was because of actual interference from Alex's administration. I swear Labour need to start buying columns in the rightwing press and on the BBC or we'll never hear about this stuff.
I now have a new benchmark to aspire to! ๐
Its a heck of a pitch from Nicholas to rejoin the European Union but i think he has a great point.
I don't think he was rich at all. His albums were only ยฃ12 a pop and and i only know three people who ever bought one, ยฃ36 isn't awful, its better than i ever sid selling albums, but it's not rich is it?
I'd imagine that upper lip being like a garage door, flipping up and retracting into the roof of the mouth. Uh...
If life starts when you first became aware of Final Fantasy, i'm only 29 years old... Oh, god!
Not except for Mars but i think that one is off centre too...?
Big JC sitting on his cloud be like "Bitches think they can call me down like a DoorDash? Yo dad, send another once in a century biblical weather event, hope they get the message this time what is this like the seventh one?"
I can dig that. So, assuming you've never met these people before which is almost certain, how can you tell when a victim of a con has seen the light for the first time or more times?
The talking face pie and lost sock from earlier episodes would have one hell of a pity party with that guy, yo.
Anger is natural but what would you rather do? Accept a victim of a con for finally seeing through it with compassion, or be a conmans tool which may make you personally feel better (but does it?), but could be the thing that sends them back to the con with a stronger belief in it than ever? 2/2
An issue i see with it - Those who con say "If you ever fall for what they say they about me, they will treat you like idiot scum because you fell for their lies." So in dressing up a hostile reception like it is itself a con, the victim may return to them with their belief reinforced 1/2
