root vegetable update : after 94 days, the carrots are revealing themselves. i keep waiting for this radish to become round but it only becomes wider. the beets are starting to become bulbous.

BB-01 (komatsuna) is my oldest plant at 86 days old but itโs still growing new leaves all the time. i take a couple leaves for miso soup every few days.
from my understanding, blocking light from the water solution is key to preventing algae from creepin in so cans are handy for that

one new experiment iโve been trying Is propagation. i lobbed off one of the basil plants last week and it survived so i cut the other one today.. if roots start to grow then it means success๐คi threw the trimmed leaves into our pasta lunch.
