The whole "AI" industry is just based on the hope that they can deskill people fast enough that they'll have to rent back cognitive support systems. Forever.

It's like Uber. Just that they don't try to break existing transportation infrastructures but your brain.

Narratively having Ever Given getting stuck in 2021 to set up Hormuz in 2026 is great foreshadowing. You want your audience to understand the basics of international shipping in a lower stakes context so you drop the real plot without a lot of saggy exposition about the minutiae of cargo logistics.

Überschrift und Teaser be Spiegel Online: Grüne Zoe Mayer

I find it extremely difficult to believe that anyone experiencing what honestly looks like the apocalypse is going to regard it as a form of liberation or that anyone responsible for it actually cares about how Iranians regard it at all.

Pete Hegseth sounds like he rubbed one out over the fact that a torpedo sunk a warship for the first time since WW2. This war is a wet dream for him.

Something about the job market for entry positions in coding being absolutely dead, while seniors are proudly saying "Yeah, I'm a cool guy, I delegate 99 percent of my work to a machine that is often incorrect" doesn't sit right with me

I just remembered Mafalda exists and how I read every comic multiple times as a kid and teen and now I feel a little better
