LIB Reunion not even 15 minutes in and 😦

Agree entirely. It was another platform but I had responded that the ignorance and eagerness that they show up with to excuse this is exactly what will be used justify violence against them. And then came here to write this

Exit Condition On Alderson Loops, Billionaire Cruelty, and Living Inside the Trap “Pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.” — Antonio Gramsci, Prison Notebooks[1] I. The Loop In computer science, there ...

I spent the last week writing up this essay on what it means to be trans in this moment. What it means to live under authoritarianism as the scapegoated minority of the moment and how it feels inescapable as an infinite loop.

The following day I saw atrocity apologists demanding "Well, why was Iran sending girls to school during a war?"

Had a nicer table for Valentine's Day dinner than Anthony Weiner's party at Per Se in NYC, in the early 2010s.

It was a famous friend's reservation who couldn't make it so he gave it to us, but still 😆

That's what he fights for.

Separation of church and state. Religion away from healthcare choices or marriage.

Period.

Pay attention.

It's Texas. Do you honestly believe that the people that support Christian nationalism can be countered just by "nuh uh, I disagree"

He literally counters them. That is what debating is. He fights the dogma.

Why are yall so desperate to see the left fail?

It is not going to undo the harm that has been done by Christian nationalism If you entirely ignore their viewpoints and their beliefs, however ignorant they are.

And you might believe that they are more ignorant than your own, but you clearly prove otherwise with your dogma and extremism. Pathetic

They're wrong. And I've seen a couple points of evidence now that you are entirely disinterested in winning, or getting the country back. You're just some kind of freak that wants to feel like you got a gotcha in.

Even if every election from now and for the next 4 years sweeps blue

Understand the reason and motivation for doing this. There are so many people that are drunk on propaganda, different propaganda than you, that believe what is being supported by the GOP today is based on their religion.
You can't meet those people by telling them they're wrong. Need to show them

Hard to address something so willfully unaware of the reality of the climate that we live in.

When he's bringing up his religion, it is specifically in a context to counter Christian nationalism. Which is clearly center stage in our country. I'm an atheist. I'm an antitheist. But even I can

5 million Texana voted for Kamala. Under 1 million voted for Jasmine.

The party is never going to get better if they ignore every single piece of feedback from their constituents and zero in on one or two excuses rather than the reality.

Both of them were great candidates.

To be clear the corporate plant is the person w/ no corporate money? Or the candidate who lost that took millions in corporate money. Just so I'm clear.

Because you're consistent with your morals?
You're not actually a fake profile that's actually a front for driving forward fascism, right? Ohp

5 million Texan voters voted for Kamala. Under a million voted for Jasmine.

Every argument I've seen against him has been regurgitating right wing and extremist divisive propaganda.

Luckily, the propaganda mostly only reaches online spaces. And reality does not reflect.

This conspiracy nonsense is freakish.

You're comparing a "Dem" from a blue state, to a progressive in a red state, who if he didn't have the values that he says, would have had zero reason to fight the last decade.

It is so desperate and reaching, no way in my mind that y'all arent fascist bots.

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

Aah yes- the already elected Democrat in a deeply red state with little hope of winning has to run as a democrat to have a chance at a seat.

He has a LONG progressive history. Fetterman had nothing, and ran in a blue state.

You conspiracy theorists only serve the fascist regime.

Nordstrom is just overpriced Shien. Change my mind.

They sell close to NOTHING made out of natural fibers anymore. It's just plastic garbage.

Had considered still giving them my money for other areas like skin care or shoes. I'm just done. I can't support this dumpster company.

Oof. I just read your post in the most uncharitable, pedantic way possible, and I gotta tell ya: it's not looking good for you.

People show up
with spite and ignorance
to justify atrocities

Unbothered that the people they're defending
would do the same thing to them

knowing that someone just like them
would show up
to justify the atrocities
with spite and ignorance

First they passed age verification for some porn sites. Now it's social media and chat apps which already didn't allow children. Kids down buy themselves smart phones. Parents can restrict sites and apps on own.

It's never been about protecting kids. It's always been about controlling you.
