I ended up having to take 3 months unpaid sabattical to recover to the point where I could work again, and 3 years later I'm still nowhere near those highs of producivity I had before.
My burnout experience was spending 2 years working 70+ hour a weeks on a game, then on one particularly stressful day, my body forcibly rejected the work. Overnight I went from being consumed by my work, to being unable to even read an email about it without my body screaming at me to be elsewhere.
Cambridge seems to have moved to Peterborough as well
Genuinely took me a while to work out which scene from the movie this was, because it doesn't look at all like a train.

"Just use another engine" is a tens-of-millions-of-dollars multi-year expense for a big game that's already in development (it's essentially starting over, including retraining staff), so it's not so straightforward for big devs. You can bet they're weighing it up though for future projects though!
