So change of plan and I stopped off at Carlisle to await the (also delayed) 13:01 London Euston to Edinburgh service. Always a few interesting things going on here though.
2nd leg up to Glasgow, though unless we make up some of this delay I'll be jumping off at Carlisle!
Another adventure begins today with Royal Diamond taking me up to Crewe on the first leg.
Well I'm still going! Unfortunately, due to a signalling fault on the Wolves - Shrewsbury line all trains are cancelled. So I'm routing via Crewe which has added an extra 1.5 hours to the journey!!!
Journey back to Shrewsbury by train starts now: the 09:25 ICE from Duisburg. I wonder what time I'll get back? 🤔
