It's either the greatest decisions of all time, or agony. There's no inbetween.

It's not the Dark Horse we've known, that's for sure.
Yeah, it doesn't look like GL at all. I'll watch it of course, but not what I was expecting.
Hrm.
People spec on comics all the time, but this seems like a real coordinate effort to goose the prices on these books. Timing is suspicious as Pokemon speculation has gone so mainstream that people are moving away and getting into other games and comics.

No insult meant to the creators, but just low ordered #1 issues. There's dozens of these every month, but we haven't seen a run on indie #1 issues in...a long time. I keep far away from the spec groups, but seeing posts from other retailers about these books getting promoted from them to drive up $.
I just feel so bad for the creators, it's going to be painful when sales spike for an issue or two and then fall 95% to actual reader numbers by issue #4 :/
It actually took way longer for Embracer to get him out than I thought it would.

Comics Conspiracy, no we don't have Nectar or Narco or White Sky or D'Orc or any other books an app is telling you to buy because they're selling to suckers on eBay for 10-50x retail because this is all a coordinated effort by speculation groups, how can I help you?
"...this leadership change was done in order to "better align Dark Horse within a more connected and forward-looking group structure" within Embracer."
Well, that's not great.
I know I'll never play it, but the figures look good!
I'm lucky if I've played 1%.
This is like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader teaming up.
Niiiiiice! It's an incredible series.
oh good it's been too long since hbo changed the name of it's streaming service I was beginning to get worried
Even titles getting axed at issue #5 are selling ok enough for us, compared to books that used to get canceled much later than that.
What's funny is, despite reports of staggeringly bad sales and customer dissatisfaction, our Marvel sales are...fine? They're not *great* (especially with the end of the Ultimate titles), but they're no worse than they've been in the past 5 years, maybe even up a bit across the board.
Ok, I *think* we've finally hit our ceiling with the Absolute titles (and DC in general). Actually have a decent stack left over for the last issue of each book. They're selling just way higher than probably anyone expected, but I assume we're finally at the saturation point.
