The war on Iran is unfolding alongside a wave of mass layoffs in the US. These are not separate crises. They are two sides of the same offensive by the ruling class against the working class.

This morning, Trump rolled out a new, made up job for Kristi Noem, head of “Shield of the Americas.”
Noem is essentially getting a paid vacation for the rest of his term to keep her from leaking stories about him.

We can throw another $500,000,000,000 at the Pentagon this year and spend $1,000,000,000/day on a wholly useless war, but we can't afford to hire doctors and nurses to take care of our veterans? The United States is such an irresponsible, messed up country right now.

According to 3 officials Russia is providing Iran with targeting information to attack American forces in the Middle East. Remember, Trump had opportunities to provide Ukraine with missiles that could have devastated Russia but refused. Cozying up to Putin isn't in our interests.
Periodic reminder that ICE does not just track and watch immigrants. They are collecting and storing information on us all.

A Marine Corps veteran protesting Trump’s War on Iran had his arm broken by Capitol Police and GOP Senator Tim Sheehy. It appears to be a compound fracture.
Republicans in the Senate killed the bill requiring Trump to act under the War Powers Act. It seems as if they are willing to cede their responsibilities to him. If they won't do their jobs, they should resign and if they won't, let's vote them all out.
