I just used the help chat feature! You need to keep pushing to talk to a real person and get through all the automated responses but I didn’t need to call at all.
I can confirm that this works. Just spent half an hour finally getting to talk to a real person, but was able to turn it off and I no longer see the "helpful" prompt offering to summarize a five sentence email for me
OKAY. Here is how to actually turn off Gemini AI for your google workspace!
1) contact google support from admin panel and keep asking for a supervisor/to speak to a person.
2) ask them to enable settings in "Gemini for google workspace"
3) turn it off.

It's amazing how even if everyone was "the same color," we'd still find ways to hate/differentiate. Think of the blue eyed/brown eyed class segregation experiment. Or, in fiction, the Sneeches. "not being assholes" is much more sustainable.
