She is wrong. Iβm late diagnosed & not because βmildβ or βmaskingβ. First intervention in school age 6, first psychologist aged 10, placed in a EBD school aged 12, psychiatric unit age 13. She needs to recognise they misdiagnosed girls like me. you can be sure as hell we always existed. #Autistic
Listen to @barackobama.bsky.social talking at Jesse Jacksonβs Memorial. Now thatβs a leader.
Iβm not a fan of Starmer but all this ridiculous on and on about not having HMS dragoon ready & in the area. The fact these ships need refitting is the direct result of years and years of under funding. Just get real about it. Iβm sick of hearing about this bloody ship.
Iβm honestly puzzled what youβre asking. My comment was about current public sentiment on the Iran situation and that many people think the UK should stay out of it. Iβm not sure what comparing Starmer to Blair or Wilson adds to that point.
On a side note people often donβt realise how much Attlee did during the war. π€·ββοΈ
Badenoch going on that we should be doing more and getting involved in the current war with Iranβ¦. Read the room Kemi most people agree we need to stay out of it. Had enough of being a puppet on a string to the USA.
I know, I look at some people who praise this stuff as if itβs some difficult and amazing accomplishment. How can they not see how this makes situations worse. When are govs going to learn from the past. π€¦ββοΈ
Killing a dictator is easy but not considering the vacuum effect that could see them replaced with something worse is naive and short sighted in my view. #IranWar
Oh for goodness sack why cant they not take it as a warning and own whatβs happening. This dismissive attitude towards the electorate is only making the situation worse.
Reasonably informed off a friend that 6 F-15s just took off from Lakenheath.
Absolutely. At the minute itβs just sitting & watching as not much else we can do. Some areas that have reform run councils are seeing the mess their making & them back peddling on no CT raises etc etc. the gorton by-election did give me a sense of relief as the idea of reform in gov is horrendous.
I was raised in the military so understand the importance of NATO. However, I think a lot needs to change Iβm not sure any party right now is whatβs really needed. We need major investment in infrastructure, social housing etc etc and not just handing money to private sec. Rebuild public sec.
Honestly Iβm not a green voter but I have been watching Zack and he has a way of cutting through the noise. Most people are tired of inequality or working hard and not having any money spare at all. I would go as far as saying even many reformers, although their misguided on whoβs to blame for it
Good for you, glad youβre doing so well. Shame that all you can do is pick holes at a word and only look at your own perspective. If you want an argument find someone else. I spend enough time supporting people that are not βstress freeβ as you put it to know the impact for them.
Held onto mine mainly because if there is a leadership election I want my vote.
always voted Lab & even stood as a candidate. Tell me are we the party of the working class, are we the party that ends inequality or are we the party that cuts grannies fuel allowance, cuts disabled peopleβs support, fails to meet SEND childrenβs needs etc. On whoβs back are we balancing the books.
Congratulations. I would like to say Iβm surprised but as someone who takes notes and listens a lot to whatβs being said Iβm not. If things carry on the way they are could be greens in at next GE.
Greens taking Gorton, love to say Iβm surprised but Iβm not.
Social care but frankly thatβs as bad as the fight over EHCP and most donβt get the support they need at all. The whole thing is a bloody mess.
And here it is: the SEND reform plan, and why - for all its good intentions - it threatens a terrifying loss of rights, just when the worst imaginable govt might be newly in power www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Iβm not surprised, Iβm not a green but Zack has a way with words and cutting through the noise. Itβs interesting to see. Starmer is doing himself and the party no good playing populist politics. People voted for change not the same old story. This rate next GE will be greens or reform.
Populist political gesturing.
Book unusual suspect by Paul Flynn. Inscription says congratulations Lisa. Sock it to them in Rossendale.
Been a little overwhelmed so cleaned out my office. Found a book I was sent from a former MP Paul Flynn. Made me smile.
Am I wrong to get picky about wording. Watching Newsnight and Peter literally said itβs devastating for Andrew. Seriously π‘ oh poor him (sarcasm) #Epsteinfiles
Latest from me: on the govt's imminent Special Needs revolution, and a familiar (old) Labour story: of lofty aims undermined by meagre budgets, constant anonymous briefings β and a drive to remove familiesβ basic rights www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
